Get Involved
A successful program connot function without active volunteers who are willing to get involved and be a part of an organization that can make a difference in the betterment of the community.
The Hobart Main Street Program has been successful because of its strong volunteer base of active board members, committe chairperson, and committee members. Anyone can serve on the active committees of Design, Promotions, Economic Restructuring, or Organization. Refer back to the page describing the four key committees of the Hobart Main Street Program for a better understanding of each committee's role in the Main Street Program.
There are various events that are held each year that requires the help of volunteers in order to make them successful. Anyone who would like to be a part of any event during the year is welcome to be a part of the planning, organization, and conducting of a particular part of the events.
